On November 21, retired University of the West Indies lecturer, poet and painter St Hope Earl McKenzie launched his first novel “The rooms of his life”  as well as paintings that he did of some prominent Jamaican poets.

In his brief address, Earl read an excerpt from his book.  He took time to praise poets the late Wayne Brown and Mervyn Morris (who was in the audience) for their support for aspiring poets.
